Umm yes - have lots of sex every couple of days, if you have sperm there you have a chance! Also you can regulate your cycle with acupuncture and following the PCOS diet (worked for me).

However temping, OPKs etc. don't work v well if you have erratic cycles.

Hello....was just chatting with you on another thread and just read your profile-yummy dd!
How do i find a decent accupunctist in my area?I don't fancy letting any berk have a go.

I thought I recognised your name! There is a british council on acupuncturists. Hang on..... www.acupuncture.org.uk/content/PractitionerSearch/practition.html

Don't go to one of those skanky high street chinese herbs and pins ones though, I've heard some funny things about them. I went to a nice lady who specialises in acupuncture for fertility - well actually her locum - she was on maternity leave LOL.

Thanks, DD is even more yummy these days, but sadly also a bit of a stroppy sod (she's 14 months so she's in full on toddler mode at the mo!)

She looks like a female version of my ds who is 30 mths.I have just taken to laughing at our ds when he is having a full on stop. That really pisses him off!Even threw myself on the floor( like the ad on tv-you dont watch much do you?) of our local supermarket when he was having a big time stop. Thanks for the link. Will have a look now.

How do i know which ones specialize in fertility?

Generally they have websites which tell you - mine did anyway. Sounds bloody awful but female acupuncturists are much better

After all twas the need of a little prick that got you into this mess

whomovedmychocolate · 28/12/2007 22:05

Oh forgot to say, leave it two months though - apparently after a cyst is removed it can take two months or so for things to calm down and at that point you go into your fertility optimum period (don't ask me, tis what the Zita West lady said). Perhaps now that's gone things will just pan out naturally. I'm a great believer in believing you can do it though - do you?

PMSL.

Dh was looking forward to sex every night.Oh well back to once a month then for a while.
I'm much more positive about ttc this time but would just like to optimise our chances.
I have done it once so i can do it again.Positve thinking and all that.

No, keep it up. It's good for both of you and VITAL that sex doesn't become a regimented duty! You can do it, you will do it. You can look forward to stretch marks and piles in 2008 I'm sure

nobodysfool · 28/12/2007 22:13

Thankfully sex has NEVER been a chore with dh.So we don't have that to worry about.I was really lucky with ds i never got any stretch marks or piles!I just lucked out with my labour and delivery!!!!!
