Hi there, totally understand how hard it is, been TTC #1 since January 2021 with no luck at all and it is completely draining, so sending you a virtual hug! I would say take some time for yourself (maybe a nice couple of treats or make some fun plans for the weekend?) and stay away from social media if possible. I tend to give myself a SM blackout on my AF week and it really helps.

Have you spoken to your GP to double check all is ok? x

Thankyou for replying to me, for some reason I just had a feeling that this was the month, and to get AF today just feel totally heartbroken 💔 I have been diagnosed with pcos when I was younger yes, but my cycles aren't irregular, sometimes a little longer than normal but not too much. My partner was also checked a few years ago and he's normal too. So it's obviously me. I was really lucky when I got pregnant with my DS it seemed to happen fairly quickly. And I know I'm so lucky to have him but I have my heart set on 2, just can't believe it's nearly a year and still no luck.

I really hope 2022 is the year we both get our BFP. I'll try and just move on, and take my mind off ttc for the time being, onto the next cycle we go Smile

Hello. I share your pain. My hubby and I have been trying for #1 for almost a year now and each month it gets harder and harder and we are now starting to worry something is wrong.
I have a phone call appointment with my GP tomorrow to get the ball rolling with tests 😥
It's a lonely frustrating journey.
Sending hugs.x

blondieee · 25/01/2022 22:41

Oh bless you, I really hope you get good news from your tests. It's awful isn't it when it's been so long you wonder if it ever will happen, I'm sure it will for us both, keeping everything crossed this is the year for us 🤞🏻

I do OPK's daily and wondering if I need to start doing the basal temperature thing..

So sorry @blondieee. I had to stop doing opks as it got me too invested. Maybe look into something less time consuming and invasive, such as the ava bracelet?
I also read more than once in the last couple of weeks that DTD every day actually might reduce the chances to get pregnant. When you DTD every other day for example the sperm has more time to regenerate and "refill" so to speak.

I have been doing OPKs for a while now and this month started BBT. Trying not to get too obsessed though but so hard 🙈

Had a chat with my GP today and with my previous treatment for graves disease years ago she thinks its very possible I have hypothyroidism.. Blood test on Friday.
At least if that's what has been the problem I should get started on medication soon. Wish I had went and got a checked a year ago 😭
Anyone know anyone who has concieved after getting thryoid treated?🙈

Its my fertile week just now but I almost feel like there is no point in trying now 😭

Hope your both doing okay?xx
