BFP and now this ...

Hopefully someone can put my mind at ease.
I got my BFP at 10DPO and it's been slowly getting darker today I am 12DPO, I had some very light pink spotting (barely even noticeable) 9-11DPO and then today I have nothing when I wipe but when I checked my cervix there is a small amount of brown blood (about 5 drops from this morning to now) I'd be due my period today / tomorrow.
Has anyone else had an implantation bleed for a few days or a slightly heavier amount around the time of period and everything been okay ?
I'm so worried as I had an ectopic in July and nothing since - don't think I can handle that again.

I've made an appointment with my doctor tomorrow and spoke to her on the phone this morning and she wasn't too concerned but real stories would really help ♥️

I had brown bleeding/spotting around my period time and for 1-2 weeks at the beginning of all 3 of my previous pregnancies. It was just the norm for me, all healthy pregnancies. Hope this helps xx

I had spotting very early on which lasted a couple of days. I was under an IVF clinic who said it's completely normal and can continue to occur as everything moves around to make room for baby.

I had an early scan about a week ago (at 8 weeks) and they could see a pocket of blood with some clots but quite far away from the sac...they said this can be common and the cause is unknown but I should prepare that I might get some more bleeding over the next few weeks, but not to worry as it's nothing to do with the baby!

I had no more bleeding yesterday afternoon or evening and then the tiniest bit of light brown this morning so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 all is okay.

@FreckledMouse hi! Just wanted to pop in and tell you I also had an ectopic in June and I can assure you I'd be as terrified as you are in your position. But I remember some things: I didn't have a positive until maybe 15dpo, and it was just a faint positive. I think I read somewhere that this is typical for an ectopic. Also, brown blood means old blood, which isn't concerning according to my OB-GYN.
I think you're entitled to early reassurance checkups, right? My OB-GYN told be to go see him as soon as I have a BFP again to get the hcg levels tested in my blood every 48 hours.

I didnt get one until 14DPO with the ectopic so that does give me some reassurance.
My GP has referred me to the EPU just for piece of mind.
