Faint line question

Hello everyone.

Just curious if there's anyone out there who had only faint line on their pregnancy test strip but it was still a successful/progressing pregnancy?

How many DPO are you?

I had very faint lines at 13DPO but I am now 6 weeks along. Lines progressed well and are now darker than the test lines. No issues so far

@Tippexy im way past my period here. Currently on cd9. I know it sounds ridiculous but i ve got faint pregnancy strips these few days. But it is not getting any darker.. not sure if its just remaining hcg post period? And feeling off past few days, which made me to take these tests.

@TheHopefulMum line progressing well indeed is a good sign mine was probably just some faulty strips which are never getting darker, and the fact that i ve just got my period made it sound even impossible

Hi OP. There isn't hcg left after a period as hcg is only produced in pregnancy. Is it possible you have used ovulation strips by mistake? I've done that before 🙈 as there can be a surge before your period and you'd most likely have lh in your system

@ttcmom when you say you're 9dpo - does that mean you had a period end of your last cycle?

You only produce HCG during pregnancy as PP said so if you are getting a faint line on a pregnancy test I would buy a FRER test and do it with first morning urine.

When you say you're on CD9 - did you have a period nine days ago? If so pregnancy unlikely but some people do bleed during pregnancy...
