Hi all

Currently now in my tww, ttc #1!!

Very nervous this time around as we’ve made a definite effort this month to conceive so really hoping this is our month.

Our 8th tww and it’s never any easier!

Anybody like to join me?

Hi I’m 2dpo. Trying to conceive number 2. Took 4 months with DS1. Been trying since July. My cycles have shortened since having DS, used by 26/27 days now 24/25 and I think I have a short luteal phase. As DH works away a lot it is often hit or miss if we hit my fertile window but this month we definitely did so hoping for a positive this month. I’ve added in coenzyme q10 this month to see if I can lengthen my luteal phase.

Justwantbaby1 · 25/01/2022 11:55

Hi @Tjsmjs it’s such a painful wait isn’t it!

Usually me and dh don’t bd too much as we’re always very tired, he’s up pretty early and I’m just always knackered (iron deficiency kills me off every now and again!) but this month we’ve made such an effort this time around.

I find it so much harder also seeing other peoples announcements (although I’m very happy it’s happened for people who have also wanted it for so long)

My luteal phase is pretty standard, usually around 10/11 days but my periods have changed since having covid vaccines, can be anywhere from 24-29 days! My most recent two being 29 days so hopefully that’s them straightening themselves out!🤞🏼

Sending baby dust your way!🤞🏼x

Hi yes it can be a horrible wait. I’m trying not to symptom spot. I’m not sure this will be our month even though we hit the fertile week. Previously we’ve done it every other day during my fertile week and the 3 days following my peak OPK. I’ve been on nights and long days with work which always leaves me exhausted so we only did it three times during my whole fertile week. My role is changing next month though and my days will be fixed apart from the odd on call every other month so hoping I will feel more like trying then. Iron deficiency can leave you feeling exhausted.

Yes I know what you mean about announcements. One of my friends recently found out she is having baby number 2. They weren’t trying and she is actually wanted a bigger gap. I know they have their own worries about having another so soon and I’m am being supportive but it is hard when I do feel jealous at the same time.

Hope your cycles sort themselves out soon.

Baby dust to you to. X

Justwantbaby1 · 25/01/2022 13:24

@Tjsmjs I get what you mean, my bestfriend had her third unplanned baby in September, this is her third in under 6 years and I can’t help but feel really annoyed by it… I’m obviously very happy for her, but I’ve definitely found it harder with her having her third (we weren’t trying when she had her 1 or second so I never really got annoyed by it) but her having a third that she definitely was not ready for nor did she really want has really hit a nerve with me.

But I love them all very much and have an amazing relationship with her children, they’re like my little best friends, I also get to give them back so I’m enjoying that for now haha x

I'm in! Think I ovulated Saturday/Sunday. We're trying to conceive baby no 2 and this is cycle 2. Baby 1 took 2 cycles.
I haven't used ovulation sticks or anything this month but we did have sex 6 days in a row so hopefully that helped!?

I'm thinking of testing next Saturday.. seems so far away!!
Sending you all baby dust xx

Justwantbaby1 · 25/01/2022 13:35

Hi @weliveinharmony from what I can make out I ovulated Sunday, or at least I hope I did!

I don’t dare test early as I just end up angry that I didn’t get the result I wanted😂 and my last two cycle af has been a couple of days late so that throws me off! I think this time I will probably wait until I’m at least 3 days late because I’m never that late😂

Fingers crossed for you, keep us updated would love to hear the outcome x

Hey!

I'll join please. 2 DPO.
Cycle #1. Trying for baby #2.

This is consuming my brain so much.

I was so lucky first time conceived cycle #1.

So feeling a bit overwhelmed this time!!

TWW is going to be very long! x

Justwantbaby1 · 25/01/2022 14:10

Hi @xidrinkwinex how are you feeling?

I’m 8/9 months in (tbh, I’m not even sure because it’s been going on so long now🙈) I’m so stressed with it all, this is my first month using tests again so that’s been a massive shock to the system, I thought I knew my body relatively well but apparently not!😂

I’m hoping I’ve read everything right and I’ve done enough for this month to be our month!🤞🏼x

daisiesblue · 25/01/2022 14:25

Also 2 DPO!
TTC #1

This is our third cycle, we had success on our first but unfortunately ended in a chemical pregnancy, now I'm even MORE keen to get my BFP back because I wasn't ready to let go!

Hoping to join you ladies in the TWW and hear some positive news from all of us 🥰

arianasky · 25/01/2022 14:41

Hello would also like to join please? I'm 1DPO, MMC in October and CP last month, hoping this is our month 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Worryant · 25/01/2022 14:42

Can I join the TWW? First cycle ttc #2. Ovulated on the weekend I think but I’m not massively tracking as it’s our first cycle. Trying not to symptom spot…I got teary watching Encanto today - are we counting that as a pregnancy symptom 😂.
@xidrinkwinex - I’m in a similar boat, conceived first on one go and now finding this much more stressful as it’s the first time we’ve ‘tried’. All consuming brain-wise at the moment!

Tjsmjs · 25/01/2022 14:47

@weliveinharmony Yes it does seem so far away. I’ve tested at 9 and 10dpo before, had a chemical a couple of months ago. I’m trying to hold out testing until my period is late this time round but I am sure I will give in.
Baby dust to you all and hopefully some nice BFP to us all this month.

Justwantbaby1 · 25/01/2022 14:52

Hi @daisiesblue @arianasky @Worryant hope you’re all doing well and happy for you to join!

It’s a total minefield! We had a chemical last July and nothing since, not even a hint! I won’t test early now though as I spent months testing early just to be disappointed by the result…

Baby dust to you all, hoping we can all share our positive outcomes in a couple of weeks time!x

Worryant · 25/01/2022 15:12

Thank you @Justwantbaby1 - sorry it’s so stressful for you. Have everything crossed this month is your month. X

arianasky · 25/01/2022 15:20

Thank you @Justwantbaby1 fingers crossed for all of us 🙏🏻🌈

xidrinkwinex · 25/01/2022 22:00

@Justwantbaby1 I'm good thank you. Don't really know what I'm looking for. I didn't track ovulation just used flo app. Said over the weekend. So DTD Sat and Sun. Let's just hope it's enough.

What kind of things should I look out for?

Last time. I felt really nauseous ... but thought it was alcohol induced as wasn't really trying!! I tested 2 days before AF was due.

Justwantbaby1 · 25/01/2022 22:07

@xidrinkwinex I’m honestly not sure, I always have mad symptoms before af (nausea, cramps, bloating etc) so I literally wouldn’t even know if it was pregnancy related or not, I think I’d be more inclined to think I was pregnant if one month I got absolutely no symptoms a few days before af is due😂 so I think this is why I’ve resorted to trying not to test early now or get my hopes up x

Chanel05 · 25/01/2022 22:10

@Justwantbaby1 good luck!

I conceived my first pregnancy (a mmc) on cycle 8 and then my second pregnancy, which resulted in my dd on cycle 8 (though it wasn't the same cycle - it was literally another 8 after) so for me, cycle 8 was my lucky one! Hope it is for you.

I'm ttc number 2 and on cycle 4 already 🙈

Justwantbaby1 · 25/01/2022 22:18

@Chanel05 definitely seems like your lucky number! I would absolutely love this to be the one for us!🤞🏼x

OP posts:
Tjsmjs · 26/01/2022 09:11

@Chanel05 Hi 👋 I recognise you from the ttc no2 thread. 8 definitely seems like your lucky number.

It is far too early for it to be a sign of pregnancy but my boobs are very sore. Totally psychosomatic. I told myself I wouldn’t symptom spot as well this month. That lasted all of 48 hours.

Justwantbaby1 · 26/01/2022 09:15

@Tjsmjs sounds a lot like me! Although, I do tend to get a lot of symptoms in the week before af… a lot of nausea, sore boobs, cramping, wanting to eat absolutely everything in sight, peeing more! Which I have a lot of now and at only 4dpo, I’m starting to think maybe af is going to be sooner this month😬 just all very strange and quite annoying not knowing where you stand x

OP posts:
calimc83 · 26/01/2022 12:34

Hey 👋 can I join? I'm just 1DPO today 🙈 TTC after a MMC in Nov xx

daisiesblue · 26/01/2022 16:13

@Justwantbaby1 I am also peeing more! And I'm ravenous all the time and I'm also so unbelievably tired! I know it's too early for symptoms, but symptom spotting is the only thing that keeps the TWW fun right? 😂
I actually had a blood test yesterday to try and get to the bottom of my fatigue and other bits, but they couldn't see anything wrong 🤔
I've cut down on caffeine since TTC so maybe it's just Costa withdrawal? 😂
How's everyone else feeling?

xidrinkwinex · 26/01/2022 16:37

@daisiesblue oh my goodness. Isn't it a mindf*.

Constantly wondering if everything is a sign!!

x

Justwantbaby1 · 26/01/2022 18:53

Hi @calimc83 how are you feeling?!

@daisiesblue honestly I’m just about ready to go mad, if my boyfriend looked at my internet history he’d definitely be wondering why I’m searching what symptoms you get at 3dpo, he’ll think I’m mad😂

I’ve decided today to throw an extra bit of stress into my life by looking for a new job, why do I do this to myself all at once?!🙈😂x
