Hi Ladies ,
Currently going through my third miscarriage abd will be trying again soon.
I already have a daughter and started trying for another baby in 2020 however after trying 5-6 months ( not sure on tracking ) I didn’t conceive.
I was very impatient and asked doc on some medication. ( i have regular periods but still i asked ) Doc gave me letrozole and since then i always conceived on the month i take the dose ( when track properly) but my pregnancy never reached beyond 6 weeks ( no heartbeat)
My gynae says its just unfortunate and eggs likely to have chromosomes abnormalities, i was also on progesterone since in conceived . i am not obese or have any issues like Autoimmune/ Thyroid etc
I am 39 years old and clock is ticking :(
Now i have a doubt that may be i was ovulating and taking this drug letrozole is inducing bad quality eggs? Do you think this could be the reason?
Shall i track and try naturally again? Or u lady have any other advise how to fix this or enhance chances to fix this.
I have been taking multi vits / prenatals regularly too..
Please help ladies, guide me . I am very much into paranoid state :(

@Anxmum22 I'm so sorry- I have been through three mc in a row after a really easy conception and pregnancy with DD. I was also 39 when I started trying for baby number 2.

I went to Professor Regan's recurrent mc clinic due to the massive nhs waiting lists. They found a rare blood clotting disorder and a septate uterus. I'd really recommend her. They resected the septum and the next time I got a bfp started me on heparin and aspirin and I took progesterone til 14w (nhs doctor prescribed this). I'm now 26 weeks and conceived second month after the surgery.

I'll never truly know if all that made a difference or if it were just a lot of rubbish eggs in a row- my GP said I got pregnant so quickly my body wasn't great at not implanting the good ones.

The only other thing I did was extra strength vit D and I took ubiquinol for a few months prior to this pregnancy.

I really hope it works out for you. I found the whole journey very distressing.

Nothing to add but following....I hope it works out for you...and me...and everyone else in the world trying! It's hard. Have you had your partner tested? Just asking as I think we tend to assume it's eggs, especially if we're "older" (as I am) but sperm issues may be fairly easy to rule out/cross of the worry list. I do know many people who have had recurrent miscarriages and went on to have healthy babies, either b/c an issue was found and treated or next time was simply lucky for whatever reason.

(assumed you were trying to conceive with a partner as I don't think post said otherwise and assumed donated sperm would've been tested!)

@Ganesh2022 :
Yes My husband test already done and everything came out normal.
Though my doc feels that there are no issues and its simply unfortunate, I am still going ahead with karyotype and autoimmune tests.
I will also ask my gynae to prescribe low dose aspirin if it doesn’t harm.
I want to try everything possible and leave things in God’s hands.
I pray we both get our rainbow babies soon.

@glowingtwig
Thanks , i was on progesterone but it didn’t make any difference. My all 3 pregnancies exactly stop at 5 plus weeks which is strange and this time i am going to ask my doc to prescribe low dose aspirin.
I have also started taking vit D etc i pray it works this time.
May i ask what is ubiquinol ?
