AMH result insight

Hi !

I had the results from my AMH bloods yesterday and they're 10.7 pmol/l . The clinic where I had them done deem this in the 'normal' range but I didn't have a consultation with the bloods, and after lots of googling, it seems a lot of fertility clinics would deem this satisfactory or low (but not terrible). Just looking for others who have had a similar result or have had a consultation and can provide an insight. I'm 32 and have been trying for 10 months. All other bloods are 'normal'.

I'm worried this isn't great news when which I didn't realise until I started googling....

That is within normal range. Mine was at a 9 when I got tested before I ever fell pregnant, which is sub par fertility.... but I am now pregnant with #4.

Has your partner been tested?

@Daisydolly1986 hi! Thanks so much for the reply. Great to hear you're on #4. We are waiting for his results to come back atm. I'm hoping what I have is good quality. 🤞🏻 x

My AMH was 6.2 at 30 and I only had 9 follicles which is considered very low for that age. I was pregnant first try 2 weeks after getting the result and first try again when my daughter was 7 months old, and now have two DC 16 months apart. I wouldn't worry too much about your result - as I understand it's most relevant for determining how you would respond if you needed IVF (the lower the number the higher the dose of meds you would need). Good luck!

Mine was 2.4pmol/l - I had IVF (ICSI) as a result and now have a three year old.

Thanks so much 💕. I really hope it is just taking us a bit longer but that we can have a baby without IVF which currently sounds really scary to me. X
