Hi, wondering if anyone could please take a look at my OPKs from CD10-16 and tell me what they think is happening. Levels are all over the map, and it doesn't look like I ever had a peak. Feeling very confused and would love any outside insight! Thanks a lot.

CD10 looks like the peak day.
After that level are low which is normal.
I wonder why it says low on CD10 though. It is clearly peak and then High in the evening....

SunnySideUp2020 · 19/01/2022 09:15

How long are your cycles normally?

LoveYouHoneybear · 19/01/2022 09:19

Thanks @SunnySideUp2020. Usually my cycle is 30 days, which would make my peak coming on CD10 quite strange, no? Also wondering if I'm not actually ovulating as I'm still breastfeeding a couple times a day...

Oh dear. Welcome to the club... i just posted re my own opk confusion because of breastfeeding.
So what I think is happening is the body does gear up to ovulate but then doesn't and tries later.
But from your chart it does seem like you had a clear peak early in the cycle...
What cycle day are you now?

Daisypod · 19/01/2022 09:22

My cycle is about that length but I don't usually get a positive until day 15/16 so maybe keep going for a few days as lh can go up and down a bit before actual ov

@SunnySideUp2020 I'm on CD17 now... and off to find your thread!

Thanks @Daisypod. I texted twice yesterday and LH was negligible. I guess I'll try a test today just to see!

Hello @LoveYouHoneybear

Not sure if this will help if I share mine with you. I also have a 30 day cycle. Last cycle I got my peak on CD13. I’m CD15 today and still haven’t quite reached my peak yet. I think I may get my peak later today or tomorrow though because my OPK this morning is nearly there.

Ive only tracked for 2 cycles but based on that I’ve noticed both times my LH is higher right after my period around CD8/9/10 and then it drops down but it’s abit all over the place depending on how concentrated my urine is and then it starts going up again until peak.

Limited cycles to base this on obviously but it’s what I’ve noticed so far.

With Premom it will list all your OPKs as low until you reach a 0.8 or above I think and then it will be high.

I also use the Clear blue digital ovulation kit with the smiley faces and you have to do these every morning with FMU. Last cycle I had 8 days of flashing smiley and then got my static on the morning of CD13 and then my peak line OPK that same day in the afternoon.

This cycle Im on day 9 of flashing smiley today so ovulation can vary abit. You may just be ovulating late this cycle.

I think as well it’s better to do your OPKs at the same time everyday. You will see with mine I always do my clear blue at the same time every morning but I haven’t been doing my line opks at the same times everyday. If I’m not lucky this cycle I will be making sure I do that next time.

Here are my OPKs…

Ignore the first photo I thought I deleted it.

Newbiemg · 19/01/2022 12:36

Not everyone had a steady line progression. Some people are all over the place and then get a peak literally out of nowhere. Good luck Smile

GingerFox2021 · 19/01/2022 19:43

@LoveYouHoneybear I literally see my opks in your opks 🙂the same. Until now all low with the highest showing 0.70 which still says low. I’m CD21 and I see the lines started going up. Wonder if there will be any progress in my opks.

@SunnySideUp2020 I found your posts on other threads- congrats on your recent BFP Smile I have a question for you re: breastfeeding... last month was our first month TTC (testing negative so far, 13DPO) and coincidentally it was the first month of my period returning. My baby is 10 months old. Did you find that it took you a few months of your period returning to ovulate normally again? Thanks a lot!

One thing that will really help is to take your photo on the same place with the same light each time. There are a lot of different backgrounds there!

SunnySideUp2020 · 31/01/2022 05:12

@LoveYouHoneybear

Thanks! (Actually worried I am having a chemical as my test got lighter today...)

But yes definitely. This month I really had ovulation signs. And multiple peaks. Other months my opks were never peak just high and despite ovulation pains I never had CM changes or anything.
My periods returned in July, so 6 months I would say to kind of feel like i am ovulating.
