I went off the pill back in October and partner and I have been tracking my fertile window with an app. My cycle is a very regular 28 day cycle with period for about 5 days.
The app was telling me last week that I was at day 30 of my cycle without my period and that I should do a test the next day. I happened to have one lying around from a previous time I was late and scared myself so decided to just jump up and do one. It came back looking like a positive?!
Then an hour later I had some slight cramping and what I deemed to be my period came. Period only lasted 3 days and was quite light and the period pain was nowhere near as bad as normal. This got me panicking that it could have been a delayed implantation bleed. Is that even possible?
I did another pregnancy test 3 days later and it came back negative so I assume it actually was my period. Just wanted to see if someone more experienced understands why on earth I got a positive test? I assume this can just happen rarely and be wrong?
