CD41 but negative test?

Hi all, looking for some advice if possible! I am currently on CD41 but tested negative last Friday, admittedly I took the test late in the afternoon and not in the morning so I'm not sure if that will have had an impact. My cycles are normally quite long and I have been pregnant before but can't remember how I felt at this point but I aren't experiencing any symptoms other than bloating at present. I'm also really tired but to be honest I'm always tired Grin . I had my COVID booster jab on 5/1, not sure if that is relevant. Another thing I'm not sure is relevant is that I went for quite a fast run last Thursday and felt a pulling type feeling in my tummy, like a period pain. No blood or anything since. I suppose the advice I'm looking for is when is the best time to test again if period is still a no show? Wait a week until Friday? Will the booster really have had that much of an impact? It's just the not knowing that is stressing me at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

The booster may have delayed ovulation so if you already tend to have long cycles this one could be extra long. Assuming you're using cheap tests (try easy@home from Amazon) I'd test every 3 or so days just for peace of mind.

Thanks @Juno231 - I am just using the own brand ones from ASDA. It's strange because by the time I had the booster I was already on CD29 (or there abouts) but I did have EWCM on CD30 and 31. If I ovulated then then I guess it would be too early to test now anyway? but if my period was coming then I imagine it would do so by the weekend
