Thoughts on the chances of being pregnant? Not planned but had sex with withdrawal 2 days after ovulation. See graph attached and red heart. Lots of usual cramping, feeling sick and longer than average cycle. I tested and was negative today but is it too early? Ovulation confirmed later than usual. I'm using natural cycles as prevention but messed up .

Your cycle will be longer purely because you ovulated later. The egg only lives 12-24h so falling pregnant two days after ovulation, especially when combined with the pull out method is highly unlikely.

I see your temp has started to drop which usually indicates your period is due soon.

How long is your luteal phase normally?

Also, if I'm interpreting the graph correctly you're 12 days post ovulation now so if you were pregnant it would have shown up on a test by now for the vast majority of women.

Thanks @Juno231. Yes you're right I'm 12 days past ovulation, assuming the app is correct. Usually my leutal phase is 12+2.

How did you confirm ovulation? I think you might have ovulated on day 18... unless you used OPKs as well?

Hi @Fredsgirl19, I use the app natural cycles. It bases it on BBT I didn't use tests to confirm.

I used to track my BBT a lot and these things can be tricky to determine especially without other signs like cervical mucus etc. Not sure if you are using it as a way of contraception or trying to conceive... but if to conceive I would not discount ovulating on say 18 as there is a rise there too temp and a post ovulation temp dip isn't unheard of

Either way I would day this month you had sex too late to catch ovulation
