I had a Mirena coil in for 5 years and it was removed on 13th December. I got a fairly heavy period pretty much straight away (not having had anything more than spotting with the coil fitted). According the Flo app I am now 5 days overdue. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests (excessive, I know) and all negative. I actually want my period to start now because I want a sign that everything is working. I'm 38 and concerned that it's just too late for me so now convincing myself that my body just isn't up to it. Just want to hear other peoples experience of cycles/conceiving after having the coil.
