Aware I have fully lost the plot in the tww, but can anyone else see a really faint line here?

I'm 10/11 dpo and have usually had clear positive by this time with previous pregnancies so wondering if this is just an indent or something but it came up in the first few minutes of testing this morning.

It's so easily done with the early testing and yours were so definitive across all the tests I was surprised to see your message :( . I

I'm 11DPO and have had faint positives the last 2 days and really hoping they stick. I'm trying not to get my hopes but but really hard not to get excited and carried away. I imagine you might have felt the same.

Hope you're able to do something nice to help you feel a bit better :(

Coastaldreamer · 22/01/2022 13:20

@mrsjhalpert sorry to hear your AF came

I'm in similar boat @LittleMrsMama had two faint positives on cheapies at 10/11DPO so wishing and hoping it's a sticky bean

Why do we do it to ourselves with the early testing Blush

mrsjhalpert · 14/02/2022 11:18

One month later.... I ovulated again around CD15/16 and have just had a positive on a Clearblue digital ultra early at 9dpo. Faint lines on normal tests, so all seems legit. Not getting too excited after the chemical last month, but feel more positive than that time (in both senses!)

I had heard that you can be more fertile the month after a chemical and seems to be true in my case. We only dtd once, right after a peak OPK on the Clearblue ovulation tests. Seems to have done the job!

clearly didn't stick to my plan not to test early again...

@mrsjhalpert congratulations! I'm a serial tester too and I think a lot of people who are TTC are secret early testers.

Coastaldreamer · 14/02/2022 12:07

Congratulations @mrsjhalpert !

My pregnancy also ended in a chemical last month after getting a BFP on 14DPO So I'm hoping there is luck in this thread!

mrsjhalpert · 14/02/2022 12:55

thanks @wutheringmights - I think once you get the bug for testing it's like a bloody addiction!

Good luck @coastaldreamer - I really just knew something wasn't right last month. Took ages to get a really really faint line and then it never really progressed. This time I've had a faint but clear positive at 9dpo and I just feel a lot more hopeful... I actually did an OPK first as I have loads of those lying around and it came up with a strong line - maybe not positive, but much stronger than I'd expect for a few days before I'm due may period. That prompted me to try a test and bam, there it was! I've of course now done 4 more to confirm Hmm

Sounds exactly like what I experienced, was really happy with the faintest BFP which never progressed and was a chemical. 2 months later got a strong BFP and now 11 weeks pregnant Smile

Coastaldreamer · 14/02/2022 14:39

@HeyBlaby that's really encouraging to hear and congrats on your BFP! Here's hoping this cycle works. I'm also wary now of symptom spotting as I knew something was different last month so ofc I'll be sat here trying to symptom spot even though I know rationally that I could have no symptoms and still get a BFP

Bex1010 · 14/02/2022 15:24

Hi @mrsjhalpert just following your story and sounds identical to mine. Was so excited last month by faint BFP (even did a whole announcement to DH) then gutted when AF came a few days later. Swore I wouldn't test early this month then did exactly same. Currently 15DPO with much clearer BFP but scared every time I go to the loo that AF will arrive Confused

Bex1010 · 14/02/2022 15:28

Ps thanks for keeping the thread posted too as I also hate getting half a story on old threads GrinGrinGrin

mrsjhalpert · 14/02/2022 20:05

@HeyBlaby ah congrats on your pregnancy! I also did the big reveal to DH last month and it has somewhat dampened this month's announcement as I don't think he really believes it this time now! I was getting lines fainter than I've had today at 11/12/13 dpo last month, so hoping this time they actually progress into proper lines and I can convince him it's real.

@Coastaldreamer yeah the symptom spotting is so futile isn't it. The only symptom I had this month which made me wonder if something was different is that my boobs did that tingly almost pre-letdown when breastfeeding feeling a couple of times, which is unusual for me. But then again, when you start looking for symptoms you can feel all sorts and then just come on your period anyway. So frustrating.

Sorry I've confused your posts @Bex1010 and @HeyBlaby!
