Clear blue ovulation help please!

Morning 😊

So my cycles are all over the place and my periods too so I'm never sure when I'm ovulating etc so I started testing with CB ovulation kit. Yesterday I got a low fertility and this morning straight away static smiley has anyone else had this or is it a false positive?

Ovulation kits measure the LH hormone which rises and falls quickly in most women. So it’s likely you’ll have low LH, quickly see your peak and you’ll ovulate 24-36 hours after the peak. Some women’s peak is so quick that they can only capture it by testing twice a day. If you look at Clear blue they have a webpage which explains LH surge.

@Holly3 this happened to me - it's my first cycle using them and exactly the same. It was definitely right though because the next day I had my ovulation pains and I tested with cheap OPKS along side and they also matched 😁

Thank you 😊 so the solid smiley disappeared this morning as it's been 48 hours and I tested twice and both times this morning with FMU are empty circle is that correct? We DTD on solid smiley day so 🤞🏼 it's right xx

@Holly3 yes that's right although I'm sure it says not to test again that cycle once you have your solid smiley but not sure it hurts to do it once the smiley has gone.

But I would assume it would be negative after 48hours as your peak has gone. Exciting 😁. I DTD on my smiley day, then the two days after xx

Ah thank you! Yes I know I just couldn't help myself 🤣 how many DPO are you? I'm trying to keep my mind busy but the days seem to go so slowly! X

@Holly3 oh I know the feeling don't worry! I have some cheap ones that I've kept doing just to confirm I did ovulate when I thought I did. I had the pains and symptoms so I knew it anyway.

I'm now 9dpo and I'm driving myself mad! Think AF might be on her way or I could be experiencing implantation bleeding just can't tell yet. It's only my first cycle so I do feel quite calm just excited to see what happens. Xx

Ah so exciting!! I definitely am over analysing every twinge or pain and my cycles/periods are very over the place. I also tested on a cheap one so 🤞🏼 I have two girls and this is first cycle for baby number 3 🤪 X

@Holly3 aw lovely hope you get your BFP soon! It's really hard not to overthink. Some days are easier than others aren't they! Xx

This always happened to me and I was panicking abit but managed to conceive after afew months so I don't think it means anything bad! Xxx
