Firstly, apologies for all the OPK questions.

I've read loads about not using FMU but does anyone actually know why?

Tested last night and got a positive, tested again this morning and even more positive,
with fmu . Last cycle I got my positive with fmu and AF arrived 15 days later which indicates it was accurate.

This is only my 2nd cycle tracking...not TTC till next month so just trying to figure out ov window now.

I'm using easy@home opk if that helps

Thanks

Hello @CherylPorter350
I could be wrong but when researching I found that the LH surge usually occurs in the early morning like between midnight and 4am for most but it can take several hours for the hormone to appear in urine so it’s not picked up in the morning test and is picked up in the afternoon test. If you use FMU then you might miss it in the morning if you don’t also test in the afternoon. I think it you are testing twice a day it shouldn’t matter. I test morning, afternoon and sometimes also evening. Some tests like the CB ones say test with FMU so I test with CB in the morning and the cheapies afternoon and evening Smile
