@aesgriff Between about age 18 and 30 I'd have cycles only every few months and would gain weight easily. Once I didn't get a cycle for an ironic 9 months. I get a bit of "unwanted hair" sometimes, though I don't think any more than most peopleHOWEVER, in discussing with people I know, many, many of them have PCOS so who's to know. Hormones weren't wildly out of range but always slightly off (lh/fsh ratio still off). Now it is much more controlled (I credit myo-inositol and possibly getting older) andat least before MC--I was having regular cycles, although longer than average. Just for what it's worth, I was told at age 30 I'd be unlikely to conceive (bc of PCOS) and that I should start trying right away. We were in NO WAY ready, assumed it would take years if at all, and conceived that month. This was the GP; I have since seen fertility people who've said in itself PCOS is very controllable and needn't be a fertility buster once controlled...sorry for the essay but feel free to ask anything else about my pcos experience :)

...and! I'm not the only person whose GP said that; several of my friends were told the same and, bless them, some did not want children and assumed PCOS meant they didn't need protection. I think there used to be a lot of misinformation about it.

Argh can't keep up today! Damn work getting in the way of TTC and MN😆 huge congratulations to those who have had a BFP. Hopefully any bleeding is just a little bit of implantation. Happened for me in previous pregnancies. @aesgriff just seen your post about the PCOS well that definitely explains the long cycles..hope you are ok and have managed to digest everything?

Got my positive OPK today so had to 'hop back on' over lunchtime 😆🙈 and do I have to do it tomorrow as well?!

How is everyone doing?

I’m on CD15 and got my first flashing smiley with the Clearblue digital OPK’s this afternoon. We’re going to start DTD every other day until I get a peak and then go for every day until I see a temp rise. Really hoping February brings me my BFP x

Sorry you've been let down @aesgriff 😞 it will probably take you a little while to digest what you've been told but hopefully this is the first step in helping you with your symptoms.

I haven’t had anymore spotting, the spotting was only when I stuck the paper up (sorry tmi) 🤣 it was more pinky tinged CM, cause I felt a little wet down there. Hope it doesn’t progress to anything! Obviously from pst experiences I always think the worst. Hope my line is darker in the morning 🤞🏼 Ill keep you all posted

@calimc83 I have had every symptom going this week 😬 doing my head in!! Just want it over now I hate this cycle hasn't gone right from the start 🙈🤦 it's such a mind fuck getting excited thinking you have promising symptoms and then af slaps u in the face 🙄 xx

@calimc83 I'm 99.9 sure it's af! But I will keep that 0.1% hope 🤣 I will test until af arrives anyway as I have 2 tests left might aswell use them 💁🤣 x
