Hi Everyone,

I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Anyway, feel free to join if you’d like to get through February together! X

Congratulations @Nico89 that's so clear! How many dpo are you?

arianasky · 05/02/2022 21:45

Congratulations @Nico89 amazing line! How many dpo are you? 💕

Nico89 · 05/02/2022 22:10

@shinyEyes33 @arianasky I didn't even do opks this month so I'm not 100 percent sure. Either 13 or 14dpo based on my usual ovulation dates and CM

Shiny88 · 05/02/2022 22:42

Congratulations 🥳 to those who have got their BFP wooo!!!

Diamondbabe · 06/02/2022 08:52

@RosyappleA

How often are you having sex before the 2 static days?

I got the static smiley on the 24th Jan. We did it 20th, 22nd 24th and 25th which worked x

MummyMe87 · 06/02/2022 09:18

Morning ladies, so I POAS again this morning and line is just the same, possibly less actually so definitely think it’s an indent. I’m a bit sad but pulled my big girl pants on and I’m fine. Is what it is, I knew this yesterday.
So I’m 11dpo today, AF due Wednesday. Im not out until it shows but I’m not going to be obsessed with it.

Going forward, I might do CB OPKs, really will try not to symptom spotting next cycle. Am going to focus on losing weight and exercising more. I need to remember I’m lucky I have two healthy children already, even though it’s so hard when I’m so desperate for another.

Hope everyone has a good day

J90A · 06/02/2022 09:41

Congratulations to everyone with bfps!! Can I ask for those who got there BFP what cycle did you get it on? Xxx

Lndnew · 06/02/2022 09:46

Congratulations to everyone who got their BFPs this month.

I think I got my (faint) bfp this morning at 9dpo as well. I'm shocked as yesterday was stark white negative!

The month of valentines, pancakes and lot’s of BFP’s! 🤞🏻❤️
Decaffe · 06/02/2022 10:03

And they keep coming!! Wow @Lndnew! 🥳

Also @Purple29 just to say I am glad your cycle is working again, lots of love and here’s to some Valentine’s action! Wink

Decaffe · 06/02/2022 10:11

I am 9dpo today. Would an internet cheapie show anything (easy@Home) or are they not sensitive enough?

I bought some Clearblue six day early detection after your post @Curlywurly3.

The thing is, even though I am 9dpo, AF isn’t due until a week today. So I am still ‘eight days before’ the day of my missed period!

This is where I always get confused about these ‘5/6 day early’ tests. Someone with a 12 day luteal phase can test on 8dpo as that is five days before their missed period. But I’d have to wait until 11dpo to be five days before my missed period! How does that work 🤔

Purpleflowers17 · 06/02/2022 10:17

Congratulations on BFP everyone. I had bleeding last week Tuesday to today. Ovulated on CD11 (5days earlier than usual) then had bleeding from CD16 not as heavy as AF or consistency (sorry Tmi) but heavier and longer than I suspect IB would be so I’m out. AF wasn’t due until 11th so looks like I’ve oddly had a cycle on 18 days usually 27. Hoping it stops soon can get back to normal as this cycle has really messed me up mentally! Why is it when TTC everything just goes the opposite in cycles than it ever has! Frustrating…

Nico89 · 06/02/2022 10:32

@J90A this was cycle 4 for us

Lndnew · 06/02/2022 10:33

I used an internet cheapie today at 9dpo and got a v v faint positive so confirmed with a frer which was much clearer. My IC at 8dpo was start white. My period is due in about 5 days if that helps.
TheBirdintheCave · 06/02/2022 10:54

Congrats @Lndnew :D

arianasky · 06/02/2022 11:12

Congratulations @Lndnew 🎉🎉

Cookiedough123 · 06/02/2022 11:20

Another positive thats brilliant! I'm 9DPO tomorrow. I did a test this morning at 8DPO. To be fair I forgot when I had my FMU so did it a few hours after that. Only with a 2 hour hold and it was very white. Will try again tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞

Natalie2304 · 06/02/2022 11:36

@Lndnew congratulations! Great line for 9DPO!

Same here @Cookiedough123 8DPO and started testing with easy@home yesterday. I know nothing would show that early but I wanted to see what a negative test looked like (in case of indents) so I didn't drive myself crazy at 10-12dpo.

I am however still hopefully, I am covered in spots and haven't got them since the last time I was pregnant, I also today have started with watery CM. I'm usually dry as none (sorry for TMI) at this time in my cycle. Hoping it's a good sign 🤞🏻

Bramblecrumble21 · 06/02/2022 11:44

Hello, I'm going to test on the 26th of this month as that will be 1 day after af is due. 2nd month trying. I have one child allready who was conceived first try.
Congratulations everyone in the positive test group. That would make it a November baby? Which is a nice month when they start school I think. Old, but not oldest.

Curlywurly3 · 06/02/2022 13:21

@MummyMe87 I’m still hoping you’ll get your BFP this month 🤞🏻 I’ve only ever used CB OPKs and caught 3rd month with DD (two CP the two months before) This time I caught 2nd month which ended with a MC and now this is the 4th cycle. I get the 4 day pack as I think the 2 day option is too much of a close call. I don’t temp though, I tried that once before DD and it turned me into a mental person. Obviously just my journey, different things work for different people.

Congratulations @Lndnew!

@Decaffe do you think you can hold out until tomorrow? I don’t know about the easy at home tests. I’ve only ever used FRER and CB digis (and the one CB normal stick yesterday)

@J90A we were month 2. First baby was 3 months. If definitely recommend the clear blue ovulation kit it makes such a difference as you know exactly what dates are your most fertile.

How long have you been trying for?

mightbeyesmightbeno · 06/02/2022 13:32

@Lndnew congratulations!

I'm 7 days PO. A slight feeling of a cold today, tingling breasts and mild / dull cramping.

I absolutely hate how AF symptoms can be so similar to early pregnancy! I'm soooo hopeful.

Decaffe · 06/02/2022 13:37

Yeah I’m definitely holding out, I was just curious! I’ve become convinced this year it’s never gonna happen so the early testing angst has gone away.

I’m going for a HSG and an internal scan (NHS) in my next cycle. I was quite annoyed with my local trust at first as I found out their policy is to do the HSG after ovulation (i.e. you have to skip a cycle of TTC); they seem to be the only trust in England that doesn’t do the HSG between CD5-10 (i.e. before ovulation so you don’t have to skip a cycle of TTC).

Anyway I have made my peace with it now, after all if there is something wrong with my tubes then I need to find out, don’t I? Smile

J90A · 06/02/2022 13:54

@Diamondbabe Thankyou. 2 years 🤦‍♀️ I've been on clomid for 7 months and ovulated 5x but nothing yet! Im CD 7 now. I'm going to try fertility lubricant this month as well see if that helps lol. Xx

mightbeyesmightbeno · 06/02/2022 14:03

@Decaffe I'm confused by this. Why do you specifically have to skip a month TTC? Is it because there is a risk of the scan of an egg has been fertilised?

Decaffe · 06/02/2022 14:05

Yes - it’s due to the X-ray!
