I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

@Decaffe that's why I really dislike the tests that claim to be accurate XY days before AF. Say you have a 10 day luteal phase and the tests claim to detect hcg 6 days before AF - the test magically knows you're pregnant even though you couldn't possibly have implanted yet? It's so misleading.
But yeah, if you have a long luteal phase, you test earlier, but at the same DPO as you'd normally would.

I know sorry @Decaffe, I just went to tell my lovely neighbour and am on a timeline as DH home soon.. I’m rushing about. She’s saying put it in a nice bag with nice tissue but I think he’ll know straight away. Any other ideas?

@Decaffe I have an 11 day LP but with my DD I didn't test positive until day 11. So the '6 days early' is based on a usual cycle length. Hope that makes sense xx

@DancinOnTheCeiling marker pen heart on your belly and tell him to look under your t-shirt? A little paper chase through the house to the test left somewhere? A note on the calendar for EDD and tell him to look through the calendar for something exciting?

What is the @Purple29 method??

I’ve decided to do something with a box of LTF tests. I wondered if I gave him the box and said ‘can you open this for me darling’, then in the box my negative LTF and a note saying “some tests are negative...” and some nice tissue paper and when he folds it over he sees the pregnancy test with the BFP. Or something similar? Anyone got any ideas how to word it?

Oh I’ve just seen your suggestions @mightbeyesmightbeno. Oh I love them too.. Aaaah, I’m running out of time. I love the calendar one but don’t have one.. aaah

@DancinOnTheCeiling you could put it in the cutlery drawer or in front of one of the cupboards and say to him can you grab me a spoon please etc and it'll be the first thing he sees, he wouldn't expect it that way and will be surprised 💕

Not sure if I missed the post but how many DPO is your test? I see on our testing calendar it was a few more days away so did you test quite early? Any symptoms?
