I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Anyway, feel free to join if you’d like to get through February together! X

Another newbie here, hi everyone! Hope you don't mind me joining in the fun and frolics. We have been trying for 2 years with a couple of CP thrown in. Recently got referred for fertility checks - in the meantime, just keep trying! Just keep trying! My OH has had his ears chewed off with my chitter chatter so it will be nice to talk with some like minded ttc obsessives.

@DancinOnTheCeiling I have a boy same age 2.5y. I had a shit year last year with 3MC 😞

Oh I’m so sorry to hear this @ladybuggoldfinch. 3MCs is a lot 🥲. Do they know what caused them?

@DancinOnTheCeiling no sadly. They though the 2nd was a molar but turned out not to be. The 3rd was a chemical. I have an appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic in March. I'm going to try aspirin and progesterone in the mean time if I fall before. I fell first time trying with my boy, no problems at all. So wasn't expecting such a traumatic journey the second time. I do have a thyroid issue now but that seems to be under control 🤷🏻‍♀️

@kizzy97 sending you a big hug, just near the end of my AF now and I am feeling a lot better! I hope you start feeling better and it is a BFP next month. I mean my AF made me a monster before TTC now i am on a whole new level even my OH comments on it! All of a sudden I can remember every dig my MIL made at me last summer and it matters a lot more every time lol. Deffo need to practice some self-care around when AF is due.

@BigAlice same here with the sibling scenario. I feel guilty that I haven’t given her a sibling. I know it’s not completely in my control but I feel I should have tried earlier but as you say we must keep trying. Good luck!

The longer I try the more my bank balance is suffering! Luckily some websites let me cancel orders in time. I mean after the last BFN I suddenly need new boots, trainers, shoes in two or three different colours I must stop…at least it isn’t tests 😂

This month I ordered a conception cup thing. It arrived today and I thought I'd test it out tonight before I actually need to use it because I heard they were quite fiddly. They certainly are! I'm a bit of a bigger girl, and I really struggled to get it in there / the angle right / pushed in enough and then flip the cup. Going to be a slippery mess on the days of actual use 😂😂😂

@mightbeyesmightbeno I've ordered one for this month too and I tried it twice and struggled, i feel my cervix position constantly in my TWW so im not uneducated on where it needs to be too!

Well, last night we DTD and we aren't in fertile week yet so thought I'd try it out post DTD and it was 1000 times easier! So my advice would be to try it after sex but before you need it to be effective. Let me know how you get on!

I’m CD15, got static smiley on clear blue yesterday and peak on easy@home this morning and this evening I swear I have actual left sided ovulation pain! I have never felt any pain around my peak day in the previous 7 cycles I’ve been tracking, so I’m declaring this pain a good sign 😂🤷‍♀️🤞

I hope you get some answers in March @ladybuggoldfinch. Out of interest, were you/will you be prescribed progesterone or is it an over the counter thing?

@Natalie2304 I actually feel like I've done something to my cervix with the suction if it 🤢🤦🏻‍♀️ . Will try again after DTD before it's FW.

@mightbeyesmightbeno I also tried mine for the first time this week and I couldn't flip it at all. So fiddly. Will try again over the next few weeks. Cant see us trying this month anyway!!!

@DancinOnTheCeiling I was prescribe it after second MC on advice from the gyne consultant. Didn't get the chance to try with the chemical but I have it ready to go for next time 🤞

Please can I join although just awaiting my peak , opks are still low but on CD 11 so not panicking too much yet ( I say I'm not but i am slightly as had no change in them at all!) due AF 7th of Feb hoping she doesn't come!!

🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you @ladybuggoldfinch. I don’t know much about it but have just been reading up a bit. There seem to be two different camps: one who say start taking it after ovulation, other camp says take after BFP from what I gather.. do you know if progesterone is just for people who have had MCs or if it’s also for people who haven’t conceived yet?

I bought a fertilily ages ago but haven’t used it yet.. I don’t know if I will. I tried it a couple of times at the time and it was awful 🙈. There’s a thread on MN and they refer to it as a plunger 🤣🤣. I’m also one of those people who cannot locate my cervix at all. I might try the fertilily at some point but still on the fence...

@Pops100 welcome to the thread! Which OPK’s are you using? I use the CB OPK’s but my friend also gave me some of the little sticks to try. This morning CB gave me a flashing face and the OPK stick is stark white?!

Feeling relieved my cycle seems to be back on track after last months being messed up by the MC. First flashy today on CD9 which mirrors the month I got my BFP.. time to get on with some 👶🏼💃🕺

I tested again I can't help myself I know I said I wouldn't and still a blank circle and low OPK although it's a bit higher 0.47 instead of 0.24? Just hope it does happen 🤞🏻

@MummyMe87 last month I had a vivid dream I had a new born baby & I was feeding her. Was really upset when I woke up 😓

@Curlywurly3 ah that will be because the CB advanced flashes when your oestrogen starts to rise , then you get a static when tire LH rises. The normal strip OPKs only pick up the LH rise.

@DancinOnTheCeiling as far as know following miscarriage and I believe Tommy's have done lots of research on this too. For women who have bleeding in early pregnancy etc. have a look on their website. But I think with fertility treatment they use progesterone.

I was told if I test positive to start taking it but I have also seen from ovulation too. I started taking aspirin from ovulation as I've read that can help with implantation.

I guess it's all trial and error. Honestly how did we all grow up scared of getting pregnant! It's so not that simple 🤣🤣🤣

@Mariabombia I had the same dream last night. I could feel and smell the new born baby. I dreamt earlier in the week that I gave birth to a boy but he was about 6 months old and was the mirror image of my son who was also in the dream!! Either it's a good sign or I am way over thinking about babies 🤣

Could someone who uses this app and understands it say if this looks ok? As in do yours normally go like this then go to high/peak? Does it look ok on the right path? So stressful haha!
