FRER EVAP

Years ago When I was TTC my daughter I took loads of FRER and never had any evaps. Took 1 last night and got a faint line, another font line this morning with FMU. But then I thought I’d seen people say they’d been getting EVAPs with FRERs recently. Anyone had similar lines on a FRER?

Also to add I have no idea what dpo I am, I stopped tracking ovulation because I was becoming way too obsessed!

I'm not sure about Evaps but I had these 2 fairly early and I'm now 29 weeks.

By the next day or 2 I had a much stronger line so maybe try again in a day or 2 but looks good so far 🤞

@OceanPearl I’d say the evaps I’ve seen on FRER are more grey and you really have to squint!

I’ve just ordered different brand of tests. After some investigating it looks like FRERs have been giving loads of false positive, either indent lines or evap. New tests should arrive tomorrow so fingers crossed

@OceanPearl, seconding PP - these look like faint positives to me, but I understand why you're hesitant. 🤞 you get a clear answer tomorrow / the day after!

By the by, I've personally never had an indent / false positive with FRER. They're always stark white or positive.

I had a very similar line on CD10 last cycle OP. I tested again the next morning and there was no progression so I’m not sure if it was a Chemical or indent. The line was definitely pink, appeared within the timeframe and DH could see it clearly too.

I’ve always thought the same about FRERs being reliable @Shortmamashortcycles, however if you look at recent reviews of them on Amazon or the FRER website there’s so many people getting bad indent/evaps. I wonder if they’ve changed them slightly!? Fingers crossed I get a BFP on a different test, it’s really difficult to be given a little bit of hope of a BFP and then it’s actually a false bfp

Just got these 2 lines on a cheap test still a bit of fainter line then I’d like but I guess it confirms the others weren’t just evap
