Positive pregnancy test almost 6 weeks after miscarriage

I had a termination for medical reasons in the 4th of December 2021, about six weeks ago. I was 13 weeks along so because my levels were so high I knew hgc would take ages to go down.
Since then tests have been getting lighter and lighter, really faint now. On the 7th of this month I started my cycle lasting 4 days but was lighter than usual, probably because I didn’t ovulate before.
However I still have faint lines on tests so unsure what’s going on and if I’ll ovulate this month, has this happened to anyone else

Yes, I had positive tests up until 7 ish weeks post miscarriage.

I didn’t bother doing tests with further miscarriages just waited for a period to confirm all was back to normal.

I’m just going to stop testing I think because I’ve had a period now but still faint lines

Yes, I had a miscarriage very early (5-6 weeks) and my HCG levels took over 3 months to come down. Had tons of blood tests (as diagnosed PUL even though they were fairly sure it wasn't ectopic) and scans and they never confirmed exactly why. Was about 15 weeks before I had another period. Sorry you're going through it OP, the weird in between bit is horrible.

Hi @Badger2233 sorry to hear about your loss 💗 I had a tfmr at 12 weeks in September and I had faint lines for 5 or 6 weeks after, my gp ran a blood test in the end to make sure my levels were back to normal as I was having faint positives and wasn't sure if it was a new pregnancy or not, turned out not to be and a level of 1 hcg was still showing as very faint positive on a frer! Have ditched the frers now as they're too sensitive and it's upsetting to see that line when you're not pregnant x

Thank you for this @Bellesjp it has out my mind at ease 🥰 x
