Negative tests but late period - help?

Im 29 years old and for as long as I can remember I’ve had 19-21 days in between my cycles. They’re 5 days long, and usually 25-26 day cycles. Well my last one was Dec 5-9. I had unprotected sex on the 9th and two times after that week - used pull out method. We also had sex multiple times in December after that but with condoms. So I’m thinking something could’ve happened on the 9th or those other times. My period would’ve came on the 30th, but it didn’t. I’m 11 days late now. I took 2 pregnancy tests 2 days ago when I was a week late and they were negative. I made an appt with my doctor that’s two and a half weeks out (cus they’re so booked). I’m just really worried because I’m either pregnant which is honestly okay - or I’m not and something terrible may be wrong with me. But the tests showed negative? Planning to test again this coming week when it’s been 2 weeks late if it is. The last week I had been so nauseous i was taking prescribed zofran but thought it was stomach problems because i had pizza that made me vomit and feel like i had food poisoning but I’m fine now. Anyone test negative the first week then positive or?

Have you had a covid jab recently?

Chanel05 · 10/01/2022 06:43

Yep, vaccine?

I did with my first. I didn't test positive until I was a little over 5 weeks pregnant (calculated by last period). We were TTC so we were happy.

My guess is if you ovulate later than expected perhaps if delays.

No, no recent covid vaccine (I had my two back in jan/feb 2021). I'm now onto week 3 of it being late, still testing negative. I'll be seeing my dr next week

A late period doesn’t mean something terrible is wrong with you. But if you’re two weeks late and the tests are negative then you are very unlikely to be pregnant.
