TTC after implant removal.

Hi there!

My partner and I have decided that we would like to start trying for a baby. I had my implant out at the beginning of this month.
Just wondering how long it took others to conceive after getting their contraceptive implants removed.
Some things are saying that fertility goes straight back to normal and others are saying a few months , so I'm just after other peoples personal experiences really.

Took 6 months after implant removal for me - I had one proper period then conceived on the next cycle

I had mine out at the end of July or early August (can’t remember the exact date), got my first period in September. I got pregnant after that cycle and am currently 17 weeks. Didn’t think it would happen that quickly tbh

I had my implant out after using implants for 9 years; I had one period around 5 weeks after removal and was pregnant before a second period. My periods almost completely stopped when the implant was in situ so I thought it would take longer.

Implant out in November, BFP in may, we didn't try in March or April

18 months for me, although we weren’t doing anything in particular to track ovulation other than period dates.

Had mine out over the summer, started ttc in Dec, conceived Apr/may, so took a little while,altho periods came back as usual quite quickly

I had a dc 9 months and 10 days post removal.. No period first!
