Hi!
We are ttc #1 and on out 5th cycle. I stopped taking progesterone only pill in August and since then my luteal phase has been 11 days (sometimes 12) and AF only lasting 3 or 4 days with light to medium flow. Has anyone had success ttc in a similar position? How long did it take you to succeed after coming off the pill? Or feel free to post and share your journey if you're in a similar position 🥰

Hello! I stopped the progesterone only pill in October and my luteal phase has been 10 days, af 4 days, and I just got a BFP today! Can't believe it and trying not to get hopes up as it's still early, but hope it reassures you! 11-12 days is fine I would think ❤️

Hello!

No advice sorry but we are in a similar position. Came off the mini pill in November TTC #3.

My cycle is all over the place and I generally have no idea what my body is doing. I have had AF once and have ovulate once, according to my ovulation strips but a BFN this morning so no luck this month.

Hopefully you get a BFP soon x

I didn't start TTC from the pill but my luteal phase is 10/11 days and have been pregnant a couple of times now. Probably don't catch quite as quick as others do but we get there.

My AF was also lighter coming off contraception (Mirena) but they used to be horrendously heavy so counted that as a blessing tbh! Good luck!

@Shortmamashortcycles thank you that's good to know! Haha its definitely a blessing in that sense! Reason I went on it in the first place was painful and heavy AF so I'm glad they've got better! As long as there's enough to grow a bubba that is 😊

@TheHopefulMum if it makes you feel any better my first couple of months were all over the place too but it seemed to settle down after a couple of cycles!! Xx

@csr721 thank you! I was surprised I had AF the month after stopping to be honest, I assumed it would be longer, but naturally glad it wasn't.

I feel like because I've been on the pill for quite a few years without AF I don't know how my body used to feel before haha. It's all new to me!

Here's hoping we all get a BFP soon.

CSR721 · 08/01/2022 13:38

@TheHopefulMum I was the same, no AF for 7 or 8 years so I wasn't really sure what I'd be like off it! Here's hoping! Baby dust to you 💕
