Sudden panic at turning 41

Sorry if this is a bit self-indulgent, as I have a beautiful toddler DD who I feel hugely fortunate to have conceived age 38.

I'm turning 41 next month and it suddenly hit me that our efforts to have a second child might not work. I got my period back in March when DD went onto solid food age 6 months. We've been TTC since she turned 1 in September, but no joy yet.

I guess I'm looking for happy stories of conceptions and births over the age of 40!

Hi, I turn 41 in March. I have a 2 year old who is amazing. Fell first time trying with him. I unfortunately don't have a positive story so far TTC number 2. 3 miscarriages last year. I am trying to keep positive not ready to give in yet!! Hoping for some positive stories to follow. I know a few people who have had very successful pregnancies in their 40s.

Conceived at 43, had DS at 44

Hi. I had DD at 40 after several miscarriages due to a blood clotting issue which was thankfully discovered and successfully treated. When I was 42 we tried for a second child and I fell pregnant with DS after 5 months of ttc. Good luck.
