Delayed period due to Covid booster?

I had my booster at the beginning of December and my period arrived right in the 2 weeks after. We started TTC for a second baby right afterwards. This month my period was due on Tuesday and so far no sign. It's usually like clockwork so being four days late is very strange. I did a pregnancy test last night and it was negative (clear blue early detection). Could the delay be due to the booster? Any one had their periods affected? Mine were really heavy after the 2nd vaccine, but still on time. I don't want to get my hopes up.

I was reading an article in the New York Times (I think) earlier today that said cycles had been prolonged by the booster.

Fingers crossed for you though

I've had the moderna jab for both vaccines. First time I was 6 days late second time 4 days. It could well be your booster.

Pants, it was the Moderna booster that I had. My previous had been AstraZenica. Thanks for the info onthe NYT article too, it's been really helpful. Well, there's always next month to try again.

Well, my period arrived today so the game of 'baby or booster' is over. Fingers crossed for next month.
