TTC and random short cycle

Hi All - after any thoughts/reassurance. I'm planning to start TTC DC3 this year and have been off the pill since last summer tracking cycles. I noticed they've been much heavier than I remember though that could be down to years on the pill and lack of natural periods for ages. They've generally been 25-28 day cycles as they always have been in the past up until this month where I've just started AF on CD19. Am now in a panic googling Perimenopause and scary fertility stats.

I should add I'm 39, conceived DC1 on 1st cycle aged 34 and DC 2 on 2nd cycle ages 37.

Anyone had anything similar and gone on to have a successful conception/pregnancy?

Thanks in advance.

My cycles aren't that short but I had a random super short cycle after a few months of then being a bit all over the place (25-33 days) and that was the month I got pregnant from unprotected sex a couple of days after my period. No idea if it'll stick as no scans so far though. Good luck Smile

@Isonthecase thanks for the reply and congratulations! I'm hoping it's just a one off and it's good to know it didn't affect you. I think I need to stop googling but TTC is so all consuming!

Yeah, it's horrendous! The trouble is the same thing can mean totally different things for different people. If I were you I'd see how it goes for now as you may well be totally fine too Smile
