When should I take a test?

Basically my cycle this month has been crazy and I don't know what I should be doing really. Currently on CD40, main things to note is my cervix has been squishy soft since CD37 (could have been soft earlier than this but this is the first time I checked) and I constantly feel wet down there. Multiple times recently I've felt liquid basically pouring out of me so I go to the loo, assuming my period has arrived, only to find my underwear soaked with a lot of watery CM instead.

Timeline:
CD30-36: spotting, not heavy enough to be a period, had some pretty intense cramps on CD31
CD37: faint blue line on Tesco cheapie, cervix is squishy soft, lots of watery CM
CD38: negative FRER, tiniest amount of yellow CM (not normal yellow, looked like very diluted blood), cervix is squishy soft and lots of watery CM
CD39: cervix is squishy soft, one drop of blood on finger after checking, watery CM but kinda creamy on finger after checking cervix
CD40 (today): cervix is still squishy soft, pressure in abdomen (like cramps but not really), lots of watery CM again

What does everyone think? It's been 2 days since I did my last test so I could probably do another one but I'm scared it will be negative. I'd like to just wait until my period arrives but I have no clue when that's going to be and really need an answer as soon as.

Thanks!
