Hi my name is Abbey, I am a single mum to my 7 year old son.
I co parent very well with his dad who I was in a relationship with for 9 years.
For the past 7 years I have wanted to try for baby number 2 with my ex, however he was never really up for having more children. I would eventually manage to get him to come round to the idea we would start trying then he would change his mind again.
I am not really looking for a relationship but I really want another child before the age gap gets even bigger than it already is.
I have given much thought to using a sperm doner. Using the AI process. I was wondering how to go about it, and if anyone else has gone through a similar situation and what was the outcome.
I have already signed up to a sperm doner website but I am hesitant to go ahead with it as it is a big thing and I don't want to just jump into it without taking everything into consideration.
If anyone has any personal experience with this it would be great to hear from you :)
