Is this a BFP?

Hi All,

Happy new year.
This is my first time posting in this Conception forum, I’m somewhat confused as I’ve been told I’m possibly going through the peri menopause so my periods are normally every 3 to 4 months. In the last 3 weeks I’ve felt really strange, like I’m pregnant, I ignored it at first but the sore boobs and frequent trips to the bathroom, the stretching feeling you get when pregnant was just too much to ignore. I’ve done a few tests, one has a very faint line but the other you can see and is quite narrow, not sure if this is a positive result or an evaporation line? I feel like I’m going crazy. I thought at nearly 49 I’d be safe as I have so many menopausal symptoms too. What do you guys think? It took me 13 months to conceive for my previous pregnancy 7 years ago so I’m a bit shocked.

Thanks everyone, I’m in shock. I was called a geriatric mum at 42 eek 😬 I’ve got a 19 year old and a 7 year old.

I think I must be about 12 weeks. Not sure the news will go down well later on as my cousin has just announced her pregnancy, think we’d be due around the same time 😬

I’m not prepared at all. In fact it’s not the best timing but it’s with a lovely new partner, i’m sure he’ll be over the moon. I escaped an abusive relationship 15 months ago so in a way this is the icing on the cake but not sure how I’ll manage just yet as my new partner lives miles away! Xx
