Starting TTC very confused!!

So I have been on Desogestrel for 3 years I stopped taking them on the 6th of December. Had 3 days of brown discharge on the 14th - 16th of Dec. We did the deed on the 30th. I thought I felt ovu pains the day after but on the 2nd I started my period 😭 however, today I took an ovulation test and it's quite a decent line? I'm very confused?

Usually post pill, my periods are 4/5 days in the last or first days of the month which is right on cue 🤔 how long does LH take it lower if you've already ovulated?

I’m abit confused what you’re asking but would like to try and help if I can. Do you know that test is negative for LH?

It’s negative if the test line is lighter than the control line, which yours deffo is.

It’s positive if the test line is darker than the control line or the same.

It doesn’t matter if there’s two lines on an ovulation test because usually there is always two lines.

The line closest to where it says Max is the one that needs to be darker or atleast the same to be positive.

Is that what you were asking if that test was positive for LH or have I misunderstood?

Yes they are super confusing! I had to read the leaflet a few times and I still get abit confused with it all. I’m using the line ones and also the CB ones with the smiley faces because I thought they would be easier but they still confused me last cycle too lol
