Happy New Year All. Really sorry I know these threads are overkill. I'm driving myself absolutely insane. So any help would be great please!
I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in 2020, it had taken a year to conceive.
We've been trying again for another agonising 12 months. In December I had some bloods taken and was due to return for a repeat progesterone test but my dates didn't align with the gp surgery being open so I couldn't get booked in. On NYE I felt so fed up at the prospect of it never happening again I was getting cramps so thought it was my AF gearing up, so before I had a drink did a test. My cycles are very irregular but I think AF was due either yesterday or today. I got a very faint line appear but I didn't believe it (but I didn't have a drink either haha!) I've taken another test today. I can see a line but I'm worried that it's not dark enough if it's 15dpo.
I know I can't change the outcome. I'm too scared to try a different brand test which is ridiculous I know. The pregnancy I miscarried last year had strong positives straight away. I've never had faint lines before, it's usually stark white. I'd love to not overthink. Any tips, reassuring stories most welcome please! Thank you for reading. X

I had a miscarriage in 2020 at about 7 weeks then a very healthy pregnancy and baby's 17 weeks now if that helps!x

Geemmm · 02/01/2022 16:06

That's clear to me - was this FMU? X

yoooop · 02/01/2022 16:06

Yep a positive girl 🙌

Tulipvase · 02/01/2022 16:06

I agree, a very positive test.

User65412 · 02/01/2022 16:07

It's very clear. For the sake of science and experimenting, I did a frer and a cheapie when I was 3 weeks dpo. The frer was darker than the control line and the cheapie was still like yours. They just don't get that dark very quickly!
Congratulations!

Decaffe · 02/01/2022 16:09

It’s a lovely line, congratulations!

Bringithome · 02/01/2022 16:11

Very obviously positive congratulations

TimeForTheChristmasTree · 02/01/2022 16:15

Looks positive - congratulations and best wishes xx

Thank you so much for the wishes and reassurance everyone. The line looks darker in different lights. @geemmm it was this afternoon my fmu was lighter than this one but I'd drank quite alot before I went to bed and had been up through the night. However the fmu test and the test posted have both dried the same colour. Fairly light but still visible (I think that's why I'm driving myself crazy!) I have gotten so used to the negatives and disappointment, that now I don't know how to handle potential good news. Every tummy ache makes me think negatively. @user65412 thank you so much for sharing your experience!
@girlmom21 congratulations! Thank you for the reassurance, so happy that you got your happy ending, fingers crossed I'm as lucky as you, thank you!
Thanks everyone I really appriciate it! X

These were mine 11dpo, nothing on ic. My ic looked similar to yours at 15dpo but frer was a dye stealer by then
