Hello,

I’m hoping someone can help.
I had a missed miscarriage at the end of Nov, where we found out we were expecting twins but they both heartbreakingly didn’t make it past 8-9 weeks. I had a d&c on the 8th Dec and have recently started tracking my ovulation again. I tested on a pink clear blue digital test on Tuesday, where I had a positive ovulation test in the afternoon and then I checked again yesterday on a purple clear blue advanced test - in the morning it was negative and last night it wad high fertility. This morning I checked again on the CB digital advanced test and it was still high fertility - not peak yet. How can I have ovulated earlier in the week and then again yesterday/today?

I’m also a little confused because Tuesday and yesterday morning, I had a negative ovulation test first thing in the morning but positive late afternoon/evening. Is this normal?

Sorry to hear of your miscarriage, hope you are okay. Your body can sometimes try but fail to ovulate so it will then try again shortly afterwards which could explain the high then low then high ovulation tests.

Hi,
Pregnancy can also result in a positive opk as it detects some of the same hormones. It may be that your positive from last week may have been left over hormones from your mc. They can take several weeks to leave your system. Hope you're OK and good luck x

That’s true but I did do a pregnancy test last week and the one previous to see if it was back to negative after my miscarriage and the d&c and they were both negative so I’m not sure if it could be that or not. It’s all so confusing and my minds on overdrive trying to figure it all out.
