I'd really like to hear the positives on having miscarriages then getting your rainbow. I've had 2 and just feel very negative about things and need a boost please 🙏 particularly from those in theirs 40s, thank you
Ps I have a 4 year old

Hi @Sef89 I had 4 losses from 38 , I just had my rainbow at 41via ivf.
I was able to fall pregnant naturally but would miscarry.
I went to an ivf clinic looking for pgs normal embryos. I also followed the advice in it starts with the egg. Did a low carb high protein diet. Stopped drinking alcohol and caffeine.
I also started immunes as doctors believed my mc were due to my body attacking the embryos like a foreign body. Pm me if you’d like more details.
Have you had any tests done to find out what could be causing your mcs?
I felt hopeless and desperate but couldn’t give up and eventually I was lucky enough to get my rainbow . I hope you will too.

@Sef89 so sorry for your losses.. it can be a a heartbreaking journey. To give you some hope I am 41 and currently 18 weeks pregnant. I also had 2 early losses in 2021 before finally having one stick. Sadly egg quality deteriorates rapidly post 40 and it’s often just a case of getting a good egg. Did they do any check after your 2 loses? If you are over 40 (in fact I think it’s over 36) you qualify for an apt with the recurrent miscarriage clinic after 2 losses) I went and was prescribed progesterone in future pregs - whether it was that or just a good egg something worked and I got pregnant on my next try! As previous poster said ‘it’s starts with the egg’ gives some good advice on supplements etc..
good luck, if you can bare the pain of potential further losses and keep trying I think it will happen for you. Sending hugs xx
