Hi I'm new here. I recently had my implant out on the 22/12/21.

I've been on contraception since I was 16. First the pill. Then the injection. And finally the implant for just under 2 years.

I had a periods on and off when I had the implant. When I had it removed I had a period 3 days later. Lasted for 6 days.

Just wondering when can expect to get pregnant I'm very impatient Confused with this stuff just wondering if anyone else can share their experience from when they had theirs out and when they fell pregnant.

Thank you x

Not personally, but my friend had the implant and fell pregnant 3 months after removal, with both her children.
You could always start by buying some cheap ovulation strips and try to track your cycle that way :)

Your fertility returns to normal pretty much straight away but the length of time someone takes to get pregnant will differ as with women not on the implant. I got mine out May 2020 and still trying but that's nothing to do the the implant. I think they say it is perfectly normal to take up to a year but hopefully you won't have to wait that long. Good luck!

I had mine removed 2/7/21 and still haven't got my periods back yet

Could the period I had be withdrawing. It was full of clots. And I had a period a week before I had the implant out. But this was the worst I had really heavy.

I am sure everyone is different but I became pregnant within 2 months before my periods started (had back to back implant over 6/7years, no periods at all) I was told it can happen quickly x
