Weird periods

Sorry in advance for tmi...

For the past couple of years I've had really strange periods that begin with 3-5 day of brown/black spotting then followed by a normal period. My cycles are around 32-36 days long. I have also recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and an inguinal cyst which is getting removed.

I am absolutely TERRIFIED about my fertility. I'm early 30s with no children. Everything I Google suggests low progesterone which can mean difficulty conceiving or succeeding with pregnancy.

Can anyone help me with this please if they've had anything similar. Tia

We're giving this thread a bump for the OP in case anyone's around to offer some advice and support.

I'd ask the GP to run some day 3 and day 21 (and probably day 25 due to long cycles) bloods - full hormone profiles etc. It could be endo that produces the odd cycles and periods but Id want to know for sure!

Private clinics will do an all round fertility check up for around 600£ by the way - this might help you see where you are at.

Lastly, after a year trying get a referral to assisted conception.
