Anyone conceived through ivf then went on to have a natural pg?

The title says it all really. Had my miracle boy in march this year after our 3rd ivf. DH has a low sperm count but thankfully no problems with me. Just wondering if anyone has went on to conceive naturally after having fertility treatment? We started trying again 3 months ago but i just dont want to get my hopes up too much, we tried for 3 years before having ivf. Any success stories out there?

not me, but have three sets of friends that this happened to... all within a couple of years of having their ivf child... good luck

One of my best friends had this happen to them - completely unexpected. Doctors said it was impossible and they didn't see how it could possibly have happened! It was amazing for all of us - and she saved a fortune in IVF 'fees'! Good luck. There ARE success stories.

OOOOOHHHH keep them coming. I just cant handle going back to that dispair every month. I am so lucky to have my gorgeous boy now - I just would love for him to have a brother or sister xxxxx

My friend had ivf for her first two then a miracle baby four years ago and has just had miracle baby no 2 . Wishing you the best of luck.

I just got a christmas card from a mum I was at NCT classes with, who I had lost touch with, but her 1st was IVF. She had a little girl this summer naturally (and over 40 bahh humbug to those stats).

yep, good friend of mine had DC1 with IVF and is awaiting the arrival of a very unexpected, naturally conceived DC2 on boxing day less than two years after DC1 was born . I think they had been trying for a long time before they went over to IVF.

someone i know had IVF for her first and the second one was born 11 months later as she had presume she could not get pregnant without help!

oh yes there are loads of these, good friend of mines sister had one ivf then twins ivf within 2 years then a natural one within a year!!!!
I think it's a lot more common than people realise.
I seem to remember hearing something about being more fertile after having a baby and being more fertile just after/as you stop breastfeeding, I keep meaning to ask on here but never get round to it , a thread for after Christmas I think!

Friend had this happen to her, baby number two was born just as the other turned two.

My cousin had IVF with her first one and then enede up with 3 under 3.... In the end she was sterilised... Not many have both those preceedures I bet.

SIL had ivf for first and then had a little boy naturally when the first was 7. She was also over 40.

i have several friends it has happened to and the other way round... No ivf for the first but needed, ivf for the second, pg first attempt, male problem also, they got lucky the first time. Good luck I hope it happens to you.
