How soon did you get pregnant after a miscarriage? I miscarried at 5 weeks and hoping to start trying next week which will be 2 weeks after

So sorry for your recent loss, I hope you're taking all the time you need to recover.

I suffered a miscarriage at 5 weeks also and like you, wanted to try again asap. I ovulated right away 2 weeks after my loss, then 2 weeks after that found out I was pregnant again.

Unfortunately this ended in an eptopic pregnancy at 6 weeks. I know that's probably just by chance, but my advice would be to wait. I always tell myself if I'd waited it may not have happened but there's no knowing really, everyone is different and I was just unfortunate.

They say have at least 1 cycle after a loss so that you know dates, so if you wait for your next period then try again you'll know how many weeks you are when you conceive again.
I hope this helps. I know how eager you'll be to try again, it's not an easy journey 💐

Hello, sorry for your loss.
I had a missed miscarriage at the week before Christmas, I was 11 weeks roughly but the baby has passed some weeks before at 8 weeks.
I was told then to leave it until after my next period to try again if we so wish! She (the EPU sonographer) said some time to allow my body to recover.
I have read different things online since 🤷‍♀️
