Hi

Long story short, I'm 36 and recently been having long lasting periods.

The first few days are usually heavy with the usual cramps ( nothing unusual just the usual pain in legs and lower tummy area ) then for days after I'm still bleeding but lightly, but still needing a pad an there's usually light coloured blood when I wipe.

We've been trying for baby2 since June, but I gave up this month due to just wanting a break! We're newly under a gynaecologist who I've actually got my first appointment today with (telephone appointment)

Just wondered if anyone had any experience with this? I have a hormone imbalance anyway due to menstrual/hormonal epilepsy and have been told I done produce an egg each month... which is not too uncommon I've been told.

Thank you Grin

Just to add, it's the last 2 months this has happened.. 9 days and counting so far this month/cycle! Usually I'm 5-7 days.

Smile
