Hello just wondering if anyone else has been through something similar? My partner and i are trying to conceive. I stopped taking my contraception pill (Cerelle) on September 28th 2021. My period was due on the 19th of December 2021 but never came. I took a pregnancy test and it came up positive. I then kept testing every day just to be sure as i was so happy and just couldn't believe it. Still 2 lines on the test i had all pregnancy symptoms. On the 22nd of December i started to bleed, it started off lightly then got heavier. I tried not to worry but i then contacted the early pregnancy assessment near me and they advised me to be calm and said bleeding is common in the first 3 months of pregnancy. I still felt like something wasn't right. Bleeding got heavier and i started passing clots. Phoned the midwife back in the morning and she said it sounds like a very early loss. I was so heartbroken. Has anyone else been through something like this, if so how long should i wait to conceive again and is there any tips that helped any you ladies to conceive faster? Thank you for taking time to read x

Hope you're doing okay.
I've had two chemicals and a miscarriage. With the chemicals I found that bleeding lasted slightly longer than my usual period, so 7 days as opposed to 5. Was a tad heavier too with a few clots.
You should be fine to start trying again when you next ovulate.
Unfortunately there are no tips to conceive faster. I had 3 losses in 18 months before I managed to conceive and stick. I'm currently 9 months and quite literally due at any minute. Stay strong, keep having regular sex and it will happen for you ☺️

Thank you so much for the reassurance and congratulations on your pregnancy. I just want it to happen so much, so fingers crossed :)

@debsblondie22 sorry for your loss, it's not easy, I hope you're doing ok! I had a chemical back in November, after a week of positives I started bleeding. I ovulated about 2 days later than normal this month but wasn't lucky enough to get pregnant again this cycle. There's so many stories about women getting pregnant on the next cycle after a chemical but it wasn't the case for me. My midwife said we could TTC straight away again once the bleeding had stopped. No advise on how to get pregnant faster, just give it all you can during your FW & keep as positive as possible! You'll get there🤞🏼

I think I had one but don't know for sure because in those days it wasn't possible to check for pregnancy that early on.

One month my period was about 5 days late. It was heavier than usual and I suspected that it was a very early miscarriage. The following month I got pregnant and my daughter is now 24.

Good luck.
