I came off my pill in January 2021 and my cycles went fairly quickly back to normal. 28-35 days and no mid cycle spotting or anything untoward.
We started properly trying for a baby in October and every cycle since then I have had strange bleeding. Everything is normal for first half of my cycle: I ovulate around CD18 and get a peak OPK and rise in temps, and temps stay high. But then like clockwork on 4 DPO I start seeing a bit of blood when I wipe and it steadily gets heavier over the next few days. The blood starts red and brown and actually progresses to thick and black (sorry TMI). It’s only there when I wipe or have a BM. Then AF finally starts properly around day 30 as it should. I’m so disheartened and feel like something is wrong with me.
I have been very stressed at work lately, but if it is stress I don’t really know what to do about that or how to manage it? Has anyone else been through similar and found out what it was?
I will make a doctors appointment but trying to get an appointment at our surgery is almost impossible these days and they are actually closed at the moment except for emergencies due to staff shortages
