Ladies, I really need to know which are the best ovulation test strips I don't want to buy rubbish ones as I really need to be sure of when I'm ovulating. I have already ordered clearblue but 8 only want to use them.when I'm close to ovulation.

Thanks in advance lovelies xxx

I'd buy the easy&home ones. I find them the best and they're not too expensive. Started ttc again this month and bought the one step ones and they're rubbish! Lol easy@home give you a quick result and it's clear

mummyjojo19 · 27/12/2021 15:31

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really want to get them ordered in time for new years xxx

@mummyjojo19 I started a thread about this the other day and the easy@home ones was the recommended ones to purchase.
I'm looking to start this in the new year myself good luck with your TTC journey 💛xx

Or the femometer ones, they're good also. You can usually get a box of 20 ovulation sticks, 5 preg tests and a little pee pot for about £7 on amazon lol

I just ordered these and got 50 ovulation strips and 20 pregnancy strips for £14.99 on Amazon and they’re coming Wednesday. I’ve never used them before but going to give them a go Smile

Hello @GingerbreadTM yes I have. I had a weird result with the CB so far but I know so many people find these great and I think I’ve just ended up with a faulty machine. I have a new machine that I’m going to start using from tomorrow and see how that is (More details here- www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/4447466-Help-with-CB-digital-ovulation-test)

The strip OPKs the Femometer ones seem good so far. I’ll try to update at the end of this cycle how they worked out for me Smile

Sending you lots of luck Flowers

GingerbreadTM · 08/01/2022 00:29

Here is what I've got so far lol I obviously ovulate earlier than what my flo app suggests lol
If any one has any hints or tips pass them on please ☺️ this TTC is hard work lol xx

@mummyjojo19 I don't know if you've tried before but if you're able to I'd really recommend charting your BBT. I tend to get some false starts with ovulation where I get all the symptoms but then it doesn't happen, so by charting my temperature I can get confirmation when it actually happens. I also find that I sometimes ovulate 2-3 days after getting a peak OPK which is on the later side so I just keep dtd until I see that temp rise! I use Natural Cycles but there are other options.

Newbiemg · 08/01/2022 10:55

@GingerbreadTM CD11 looks positive to me in your photo was that your peak or have you had your peak today? Sending you lots of luck for this cycle Smile

Mine are still negative but I’m only on CD8 and last cycle I got peak at CD13.

GingerbreadTM · 08/01/2022 11:06

@Newbiemg my cycles were 28 days up until July when I had chemical pregnancy, I also received my first covid jab mid august, second one in October. My cycle is now 26 days so I was worried that I wasn't ovulating at all.
I was glad to see that darker line last night, the only reason I did another test was because I felt a pulling/tugging sensation on the left side of my lower abdomen.
Maybe it just took 3 months for cycle to settle down after the second jab, but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️lolxx

Newbiemg · 08/01/2022 11:16

So sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. I have heard the jabs have messed up a lot of ladies cycles but your ovulation strips look good to me. Hope this is the cycle for your bfp that sticks Flowers

My line opks are clear negatives still but weirdly I got a static smiley on CB on CD7 which doesn’t make any sense and I didn’t even get a blank or flashing just a static the first day I used it so decided Ive got a faulty machine and sticking with the line strips Smile

GingerbreadTM · 08/01/2022 14:24

It was hard to cope with especially when we were put into isolation that same week, but I'm out through the other side with the best mindset I've had in years ☺️
It's nice to have a forum like this because no one else I know has went through a difficult journey of TTC and everyone is so helpful and lovely on here, thank you xx
