Poor Sperm Fragmentation- IVF chances

Hi all

Had egg collection last month and waiting for the frozen embryo transfer next month.

Results weren’t great -
Out of 20 collected, 10 fertilised , 7 were looking good at day 3 but only 2 were suitable for freezing at day 5 and quality for both we’re not great(grade 2BB- and 2-3BB)

Consultant said the big drop off could be to do with sperm issues - the usual sperm analysis didn’t flag anything up. We decided to do sperm fragmentation tests and results have shown DH has poor average sperm fragmentation (36%). We’ve had three miscarriages previously so not sure if sperm fragmentation is the cause.

Wondering if anyone could share their experience with poor sperm fragment and non ICSI IVF success rates (as we didn’t do it this time round)

Is it worthwhile trying to push for the clinic to transfer two embryos?

Hi, didn't want to read and run. Might get more answers over on the infertility board where the girls have some IVF experience. Good luck
