TTC after having a baby

Hi all I was just wondering how soon after having a baby did anyone want/think about ttc another baby?
I've just had a baby 5 weeks ago and as soon as she was born I knew straight away I wanted to do it again and it's not like she was my first baby she is my 5th.
My dh is all up for us having baby number 6 and he is happy to start trying as soon as I want to but I don't know how soon would be too soon to start ttc

Honestly let your body recover for afew month.

I would wait a year to recover from the birth, have time with your baby as well as juggling four others! I would also make sure it’s a sensible balanced decision and not an emotional, rushed, hormone induced one (I certainly was not in a position post birth to be making huge life decisions). Do you have the money for 6 children? Can you give them the space and time they all need?

My other children are a bit older they are 21, 13, 10 & 8 and I think the main reason I would love another one soon (well not too soon) is I love how close my 10 & 8 year old are they do everything together and when we go anywhere or on holiday they always have each other so they are never having to find a friend even though they always do, so I would love that for my baby.
Yes we can afford it and we have a big enough house for them all to have space and they all get lots of time and attention.
I was just wondering if anyone had had babies close together.

I wasn't trying to get pregnant at 6 week postpartum but I did. They have 10 1/2 months between them my boys aged 3 and 4.
