Hi everyone, apologies for the long story.

In May 2020 I had a miscarriage and in March 2021 I found out I was pregnant again through very very almost invisibly faint tests which turned out to be ectopic.

I am currently on CD34 and usually have 27-28 day cycles. I use Flo to predict my periods and this app has been spot on since I fell pregnant with my son in 2015. I’m late and have only ever been late three times (with my son, miscarriage and ectopic). And now fearing that I am getting extremely almost invisible lines again.

I feel like a total crazy person but having creamy CM, tender breasts, slight dizziness and nausea. I had to use the invert to check my tests the last time which eventually gave me a bfp on CD41 but shortly bled after and found out it was ectopic and was treated with methotrexate.

Can anyone see this line? I basically don’t even know why I’m posting here I suppose looking for support and encouragement as much as possible. I have the doctors calling me tomorrow as I feel I need to be seen sooner rather than later given my history - hoping to have bloods done.

Here’s a photo of the test without the invert - it looks so similar to my first test back in March and is giving me major anxiety

Hi. I can JUST about see a faint line. I hope everything is ok.... 🤞🏼

Doodledeedum · 22/12/2021 14:56

I use this app for more opinions on tests
Don't know if it will help you

@Doodledeedum thank you! I’ll have a look at that app just now!

The line is so faint it’s almost unbelievable but just frightened due to my previous experience before. If I find a picture of a test from my ectopic I’ll post- I actually had to break the test open to see and then done a CB digital which said 1-2 weeks which I knew was wrong but was due to my hormone levels going up and down and after three long weeks pregnancy was finally located in my right tube

Don't break open tests as they will always have a line but if any digital says you are then it's likely a positive
Are you able to do a digital now? Hold urine for around 4 hours if you can?
I'd think with your cycle length you'd get a Fifi notice answer with that and if it's 3+ weeks you may just be ok! i really hope all is well!

Rrrob · 22/12/2021 15:29

I really can’t see a line, sorry. If you are 7 days late you would expect to have a strong positive. I hope that doesn’t come across as harsh, I’m in the same position myself (mc in July, another squinty test this afternoon and 10 days late). Fingers crossed its a late implanter!

user1473880439 · 22/12/2021 15:34

@Doodledeedum that was with my ectopic in March I broke open the test and got the positive on the digital also. Will be nipping to the shops later so will pick a CB up then.

@Rrrob no don’t be silly, thanks for your honesty. Just concerned as this is how my ectopic started and wasn’t detected with a home pregnancy test until CD41. So just a bit frightened of history repeating itself as I am never ever late (with exception of my son, the MC and ectopic) hope that makes sense apologies if not! And hoping for good news for you - not out until AF arrives

@user1473880439 I don’t know about ectopics, but would hcg/ repeat hcg bloods give you a better idea of what’s happening?

user1473880439 · 22/12/2021 15:39

@Rrrob yeah it would, I’ve got a consolation with GP tomorrow so hoping I’m able to get that done with my history.

Basically HCG levels rise and fall at different rates and sometimes aren’t detectable for a while with a pregnancy test. A blood test would definitely confirm though! One and then another 48 hours apart - I had this for weeks previously with my ectopic and eventually was located through ultrasound in my right tube. Was a very traumatic time and it’s causing me to worry now!

@Rrrob it was actually through an ovulation text I found out I was pregnant with my ectopic pregnancy

Test*

Doodledeedum · 22/12/2021 16:01

Yeah no, I got it was with the previous and you clearly just knew you was and something was off,
I hope as mentioned it's just a late implanter too!

user1473880439 · 22/12/2021 16:04

@Doodledeedum

Loosing the plot, going to try put it to the back of my mind until tomorrow. No idea when I ovulated either as stopped tracking that a long time ago but like mentioned my app is always accurate for AF up until now! Stressed myself out that much my head is sore!

OP posts:
Doodledeedum · 22/12/2021 16:18

@user1473880439 and isn't it a pisser that stressing delays AF! Does my head in

user1473880439 · 22/12/2021 16:24

@Doodledeedum I know! It’s like you can’t win!! Honestly if AF showed up that’s fine I’d be ok with that. It’s this unknown it’s a pain in the backside

OP posts:
Doodledeedum · 22/12/2021 16:34

@user1473880439 yup! And with AF symptoms being the same as pregnancy.... 🤦🏽‍♀️ I get what you mean. If it comes at least u know

user1473880439 · 23/12/2021 16:16

Sending you so much love, are you ok?

Doodledeedum · 23/12/2021 23:44

@user1473880439 oh no :( could it be implantation bleeding? i know unlikely at this stage but you just never know..?

user1473880439 · 24/12/2021 10:25

@pennysays I’m doing ok thank you, struggled a bit yesterday but it’s Christmas Eve and the show must go on x

@Doodledeedum it’s not very heavy at this point but still is a lot. It’s pink in colour - I’ve never had implantation bleeding before so I’ve no idea
