Anyone else 8DPO today ?

Hi,
Just looking for other people on similar cycles to me ♥️
I'm currently 8dpo and going to start testing tomorrow.

I'm 31, and on Cycle 8 of ttc
I had an ectopic pregnancy in July and was operated on losing one of my tubes at 9 Weeks.

This is the first that I've ovulated properly (monitored by GP) since July, I track with OPK, BBT, RHR, CM and log on Fertility Friend so know when I ovulated. We BD 3 days before O, on the day of and the day after.

I have kept things pretty simple and done light yoga daily, taken the usual vitamins and supplements and generally eaten healthy.

At the moment all signs are looking good - BBT had a dip for a day then went right back up, RHR staying high & lots of CM.

I'm feeling hopeful.

Anyone else starting to test tomorrow ?

I'm a little behind you, only 3 DPO and will be holding out until 14 DPO as BFN always get me down
We have agreed that this is our only try for DC no. 4 so I flit between hoping it's good news and also wondering what the hell we have decided to do

We are ttc our first !

Ectopic was horrendous physically and mentally :( but I'm lucky to have a really great support network and great bunch of healthcare professionals !

I sometimes hold out till 14DPO but this time round I'm a keen Bean 😂

Keep me updated with how you do. I think we're looking at early September if we're lucky this month.

3 is mental but lovely, and we currently feel that were completely in the thick of it right now, so this is the time to try for the 4th.

I'm so unsure how it will go (have had previous losses) that I don't even have any tests in the house anymore 🤷

@FreckledMouse I’m 32, I’m on cycle 8, TTC #1and I’m due AF on Christmas Day so pretty damn similar! I didn’t use any OPKs or anything as we have sex quite regularly. No drastically obvious signs for me. Sounds hopeful your end 🤞🏻 X

I've held off testing this morning (yay me 😂)

Had a big dip in BBT this morning- which I'm hoping is implantation dip ?! (If it exists) I had a dip 6Dpo but maybe oestrogen surge. (I've been researching 😂)

Hi @FreckledMouse I'm feeling a bit ropey not envy! Felt really sick this AM and have lots of CM

Well done on not testing! I think I tested from 12DPO with DC1&2 and got faint positives. Still checked every could of days until I had a scan too, it's crazy isn't it!

How are you feeling in yourself?

I will admit I know nothing about temping, I've always went off ovulation tests when trying previously. Is it where you do BBT everyday before even getting out of bed?

Yeah BBT is the every morning one, it's helpful but terrifying 😂

ohh looking for a thread like this. I am 6dpo. Wish it wasn't the holidays so I was more busy and wouldn't be obsessing and spending my time on threads like these.

No symptoms at the moment. Dip in temp today, but took temp much earlier this morning than normal due to disturbed sleep zzzz. FWIW I have a dip in my bbt most cycles.

I am going to test on xmas. I KNOW if will be bfn, but just in case I could wrap it up and give it to DP!

After that, I will wait til 10dpo which is normally when AF is due. Which is Monday 27th! GAH!

I had a BFN today (10DPO) but am holding a little hope as I don't think I ovulated until 9dpo.

Hi! I'm 9dpo today, 31 years old and ttc #1. Been off the pill since April. Usually have 31 day cycles but last month had a random 53 day cycle which was really hard because I actually thought I was pregnant but got BFN on all tests.

I've been using cheap OPKs and ClearBlue OPKs but CB have never gone static for me whereas the cheap ones have shown peak I did try BBT this month too but I gave up as it was stressing me out so much and making me scared that I wasn't ovulating at all so I felt really depressed. I don't sleep very well so maybe it's that!

Anyway, how soon are you all going to test? I'm either doing it tomorrow at 10dpo or xmas day at 11dpo

I deliberately haven't even bought any tests yet as I know I would've caved already

Will order some on Amazon over the weekend and try test middle of next week. Probably anytime after 10dpo, AF is due 3rd Jan and we've having a party on NYE so will probably test before that as I will then limit my alcohol intake.

How is everyone feeling?

managed not to test today! well done me! testing tomorrow at 7dpo and then again on 27th (10dpo) which is when I normally get my period.

BFN yesterday - but only 8dpo so I didn't really think I would see anything. @GaslighterDenier waiting until tomorrow to test again which will be 10dpo which is when I would normally get my period. No symptoms of anything at the moment...

Hi I hope it’s ok for me to jump on this thread, I’m cycle 5, ttc #1. Based on my app I am 9dpo and due either 31/12 or 1/1. Ive not really had anything I could remotely spot as a symptom this month except a really strong pain in my belly button yesterday. It lasted for about a minute. Tried to convince myself it’s an implant sensation but honestly I have no idea if that’s even a thing. Has anyone had this before?
I did a test today and obviously got BFN but couldn’t resist the urge. Going to try and not test for a couple more days now.

@FreckledMouse I’m also 31, trying for our first. I’m sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy, that is so scary :(

@Tryingforthefirst I’m in my TWW at the moment and also not experiencing anything unusual, although I have never tried before this month so don’t really know what I’m looking out for. The bottom of my back has been a bit sore but I thought it was an effect of my booster

AF showed up Boxing Day so Cycle #9 day 3 now.

BFN yesterday for me but AF not due until 3/1 so knew it was too early. Will test again tomorrow incase it is BFP before NYE party 🥂
