So, after a late loss (at 16 weeks) back in September, it's been a rough couple of months, but this last few weeks I've started to feel like I'm ready TTC?! I keep doubting myself, but I do genuinely feel like I want to start this journey again. The niggling anxiety will always be in back of my mind, but I don't believe that will ever completely go away after a loss. Anybody else getting ready to start the journey too? Or any advice? X

Hi @cheeseandbiscuitsplz. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I lost twins at 19 weeks in January 2019 so I understand some of your pain. By July the same year I was pregnant again (again with twins). They were born extremely early - we lost our son at 4 days old but our daughter miraculously survived. Now I'm 4 weeks pregnant again (hopefully just one this time!) and my anxiety levels are through the roof but somehow I'm managing.

There are NO rights or wrongs about TTC after loss. Some like to crack on straight away because after having a baby at any gestation we are highly fertile and it's okay to want to try again whilst that is (albeit a very sad one) an advantange. If you want to wait a while, that's fine too. Do whatever feels right for you - you will not be judged here.
