Painful ovulation after ectopic pregnancy?

Has anyone experienced this?

I could always feel my ovulation (probably worse than period cramp) but it's quite intense this month. This is the first time I've ovulated since my ectopic pregnancy, just wondering if this can play a part or if it's just generally more painful this month.

Just come across your thread.
I had an eptopic pregnancy in June and the few months after, ovulation was painful. I also has a 2cm corpus luteum cyst though which was causing pain and how my eptopic was discovered, they said it would disappear on it's own. My ovulation now is just the normal twinges I used to get so I'm assuming the cyst is gone, but if I remember it took 2/3 cycles for the pain to subside.
Hope you're doing okay, I know how tough it is 💐

Yep me 🙋‍♀️ not fun I feel your pain. Had this today whilst at work and it was grim.. But did settle with ibuprofen. Periods also more painful some months, to the point where I might just ask them to remove the left ovary because its no use nor ornament! 🥴

The ectopic surgery was in march 21 and have had a scan since and nothing was wrong. Hang in there it might just be as you still have some inflammation from the surgery and could easily settle down in the coming months. 🤞
