Does saliva kill sperm?

I've read contrasting things online about this. Some say it's terrible, some say it makes no difference at all... Does anyone have any thoughts on insight? Thanks everyone.

I have read it can slow sperm down as does regular lube. But there are lots of people who still got pregnant using both!

Without trying to ask tmi why does it matter? If it's already 'up there'? Or do you mean if he put saliva up there first? Confused
