Confused and worried

Sorry for the long post but hoping for some sort of advice as not really sure whats going on. I've been tracking ovulation using CB since August and it has been like clock work, always at the same time in my cycle which is always 28 days.

My last period started on the 17th nov, i got a delayed flashing smiley on on the 30th which lasted 9 days, no peak as it went back to blank - i was testing twice a day. I thought af would also be delayed but two days ago i got black blood spotting which has increased but still nothing like a period. Seeing black blood is concerning and i've never had this before, i was wondering if anyone had a clue what this could mean? We couldn't dtd this month and i had my first vaccine dose in October (but nov period came bang on time). We want to try this month.

I would make an app with your GP just to get some reassurance. I had my first vaccine in June and ended up with two periods two weeks apart and when i did some research online it seems that affected cycles is very common... So could be that. I would definitely phone my GP tho. Try not to worry xx

Thanks, i booked a gp appointment today but the earliest available is after Christmas. I delayed getting the vaccine due to period concerns, hope its goes back to normal! x

Mine was messed up that one cycle and that was it and wasn't affected at all by my second vaccine. I'm sure it will be that, seems to be too much of a coincidence not to be.

Maybe even go see a pharmacist for some advice/reassurance whilst you wait for GP app?

Same as Bristolgal for me - I ended up having a random big mid cycle bleed after my first jab and nothing different after my second one. Hopefully you're just having a random wonky cycle that will go back to normal next time.
